Description: Crosswinds tells the story of a struggling writer, Socrates Lewis, who happens upon a troubled young woman, Miley, where she makes her living: out on the streets. Their meeting interrupts her most recent contemplation of ending her life, and Socrates manages to convince her that he truly would like to hear what’s bothering her. In the time they spend together, she begins to trust him enough to consider sharing what’s been tormenting her. It’s an idea that she feels compelled to tell the world, but she fears that her soul hangs in the balance because she doesn’t know who she’d be serving by telling it. Does God want her to reveal the idea, or is it a devious plan from Satan?
